Who is eligible for membership?+
Applicants need a valid trade licence and a clean record, free from any criminal charges. The board evaluates each application, keeping the process selective and objective.
How much does membership cost?+
Individual and corporate plans are available for both the building material sector and the non-building material sector, on 1, 2, or 3 year terms. Individual membership starts at AED 1,250 for one year. See the Membership page for the full fee table.
How can I pay the membership fee?+
By cash, cheque, or bank transfer. Cheques are issued in the name of “Building Materials Group”.
Do members get voting rights?+
Yes. Individual members get 1 vote and corporate members get 2 votes in the election, provided the membership is valid at the time of the election.
